Today's captains will be WR Randall Cobb (offense), DT Mike Daniels (defense) and WR Jeff Janis (special teams).

Have the inactives been announced yet?  I have a bad feeling Bahk will be out again today.   :-\

It's either 45 minutes before game time or an hour and a half, I don't remember which. Either way not yet.

Three good choices, and three guys that could make a big difference in the outcome of the game if they step up and have good games.

This is the first early start of the year for the Packers, will that have a negative effect on the Packers? The Vikings normally play the early games, does that lead to an advantage Minnesota? Will GB start slow because their bodies clocks are off? We see this often when west coast team travel east.

Interesting question...

I think the comparison to west coast teams falls apart though. For players living and practicing on West Coast a early game is literally 10AM. For GB it is literally noon.

Your question is still interesting...

Their is no doubt that the Packers staff is on top of it. MM has historically changed practice times to offset the different start times of games, but I still find it interesting.

In a game, that to me feels like it could be a battle of wills type of game, it would be a good day for a big play from Trevor Davis or Jeff Janis in the return game. Return scores are crushing blows in these types of games.

When would a running game come in handy?
When you're trying to limit the exposure of your MIA defense.

YIKES! Three quarters of our starting secondary. Welcom Linzy Pipkins, hope you're up to the task.

They are pretty short handed on offense too. I don't want MM to fall in love with the run game against this defense. Short, quick throws to open it up with an occasional shot deep. Need to keep both safeties off LOS to be able to run. Best to run if we could get them in nickel.
