Reports are Smith got $23.5m / year, $70m guaranteed.

Now it's estimated that Aaron's next contract will come in at $113m - 4 years - $28m/yr - $80m guaranteed. Such a contract will not make building a defense any easier.

It seem less and less likely Aaron will get an extension until a year from now.

We're in for an exciting several months. Cousins & Bradford will certainly be available.

I didn't think teams couldn't go past just agreeing to trade with some parameters until league opening March 14th.....

I find it difficult to believe that a rule was circumvented .......ya right

I believe this i bigger than that:

1. Skins had an agreement with Alex on money.
2. Skins have told their young CB he's moving.
3. Skins have told KC they're shipping out a 3rd.

If the Skins should choose to not follow though on this, no one will trust them.

This is more than a wink and a nod.

Who got the better of this deal?  .............................  besides Alex Smith.

And how does his deal impact Rodgers upcoming next contract?
