Any reason the Packers aren't looking? Seems like a good fit for a 1-2 with Montgomery.

Must be either: Money, or injury/attitude.

Don't remember much interest at all for Blount by any team.
-
Heard on NFL Total Access that Blount wants to "get paid" cuz he scored like 18 TD's last season.
Teams are playing a waiting game with him and AP.

Speaking of Blount and AP, there is a school of thought that the Pats bringing in AP for a visit was a signal to Blount that he was replaceable. And in NE, every player is on the block- except one. At least for the foreseeable future.

Yeah....I heard since the untouchable one's declared he's gonna play till he cant walk anymore, NE's considering trading him to CLE - to beat GB to the punch! :)

New England invokes some obscure rule to try and corral Blount:

Seems like a hedge until after July 22; meantime LB can still sign with another team, which would possibly garner NE a comp pick. If I’m understanding this rule, and the comp pick rule, NE would get a comp pick only if a new deal for Legarette was a “top 32” among all free agents. Correct? ? - : #
Still, given the circumstances, it seems like a pretty shrewd personnel move by Wild Bill...again...

Eagles are signing former Patriots' RB LeGarrette Blount to a one-year deal, per team official.
Cardinals also had some mild interest.

Blount had an excellent season last year. Will he have a repeat performance this year? Doubtful. But I wish him the best of luck, I guess. He''s not a Packer, and won't be facing the Packers, so my interest is minimal.
