Title: First major injury for Packers
Post by: ricky on May 31, 2019, 10:19:42 AM
MLF tore his Achilles tendon. Really. Last time something like this happened to the Packers that I can recall was Dan Devine getting a broken leg during a game while standing on the sidelines. Hopefully, this is not an omen.

I bet he wishes he could get a do over. Too bad. Sucks for him, but now he will be coaching/scheming in his spare time rather than playing. It might end up being for the best.

He’s 39, time to take up less strenuous avocations, like golf and fishing which both work well in WI!

At least we know its an achilles.  If it was McCarthy, it would be shrouded in mystery with a "sore leg" explanation .

MLF tore his Achilles ...

Heh heh, my first read was MVS, our only 3-syllable M player!  No offense, coach, but better MLF than MVS!
