It's a one year deal. Boykin grew up in North Carolina.

He will do well down there.  Good signing for the Panthers.

He'd better practice up on his: "leap up - snag the pass - then get down/protect yourself" move.
Cam Newton is renowned for his high throws. Hung Kelvin Benjamin out to dry more than a few times - and that takes some doing.

Best of luck to Jarrett.  He was one of the unsung heros two years ago when Rodgers was out, think he was Flynn's favorite target.

Jarrett Boykin, who was a star wide receiver at Butler High School in Charlotte, North Carolina and later at Virginia Tech is going home, signing a one year contract with the Carolina Panthers this weekend.

Boykin made the Packers roster as an undrafted free agent in 2012 and made his first start in a victory against the Cleveland Browns on October 20, 2013, catching 8 passes for 103 yards and a TD in a victory over the Cleveland Brown. Jarrett finished the '13 season with 49 for 681 yards and 3TDs.

In 2014 he lost his starting job to Davante Adams and became primarily a special teams player.

Jarrett was a hard worker and a great team player, I wish him well in his second chance in Carolina, near his hometown.
The Green Bay Packers never lost a football game.
They just ran out of time.

Cool to see he carved out a role in the NFL. Unfortunately, 4.7 speed in today's NFL limits your ceiling.
