one and only mock
« on: April 27, 2015, 07:33:07 AM »
Been working on this one for a while.

2 trades.
GB trades 30 for 35 and 102
GB trades 206 and 247 for 199

35) Jordan Phillips NT Oklahoma 6'5 320 Jordan is first round talent with a second round motor.  He is a disruptive force and GB needs more in the middle.

62) Stephone Anthony ILB Clemson 6'3 243 Has the size and athleticism and the packers love him.  I think there are more productive ILBs out there but he can start right away and bring some sideline to sideline tackling.

94) Josh Shaw CB USC 6'0 200 Josh has a little baggage but he has the size and speed to cover outside.

102) Davis Tull OLB 6'2 246 Tenn-Chattanooga Tull played inferior competition but absolutely dominated them.  He can use a year backing up the OLBs but he is a playmaker.

129) Chris Conley WR Georgia 6'2 213 Conley is big and super fast.  If nothing else he can blow the top off a defense.  Needs coaching and development but ability is there.

166) Chaz Green OT Florida 6'5 314 Chaz is a utility knife who can play multiple positions on the OL.  He is also very underrated.

199) Craig Mager CB Texas State 5'11 195 Craig may not last this long but he's a smooth corner who can run with WRs.  He's been impressing during the offseason.

210) Josh Robinson RB Mississippi St. 5'8 215 Josh would not be here if it weren't for a bad 40 time.  He's quick and elusive and can catch.  Brings a bit different style to what we have.

213) Connor Halladay QB Washington St 6'4 205: Connor has an arm and decent accuracy.  They just will need to feed him more as they develop his skill.  He spent most of his life in the shotgun formation.

Nice mock. I was actually thinking of making one where we land Phillips and Davis in the 2nd. I think Cooper goes in the 2nd also, but that would be crazy to land all 3. Too bad that many trades wouldn't allow us to get a good corner.

Likes: I think Shaw is one of those CBs that will stick and have a good career. Tull and Green seem to me very underrated and like Anthony.
Dislikes: Phillips scares me w/ his back and lack of effort. WR  position seem to be drafted too high.
