Different strokes....

Lattimore
*Jones (prior to injury)
Humphrey
White
Conley
Moreau
Jackson
Awuzie
Kevin King
Tabor

Given the significantly different rankings by many, what it shows is what a great, deep CB crop we have in this year's draft.

I frequently see Conley dropping to lower 1st Round.  I think I'd be alright with him if available.

That's funny - I keep seeing him going much earlier.

Now where does Conley go?

I wonder if any of these so called safeties will be considered at CB:

BUDDA BAKER, Washington (5-9 ½, 193, 4.50, 2)
JOSH JONES, North Carolina State (6-1 ½, 221, 4.40, 2-3)

And some are considering Awuzie as a safety, though I always thought of him as a CB.

CHIDOBE AWUZIE, Colorado (6-0, 199, 4.46, 2)

McGinn's top 5 CBs:

1. MARSHON LATTIMORE
2. MARLON HUMPHREY
3. GAREON CONLEY
4. SIDNEY JONES
5. ADOREE JACKSON

And of course he has a comment from a scout saying Conley is a high character guy. Who knows?

You have to do a serious character evaluation, like with Mixon. Problem is, you have almost no time to do it. Fans like us have very little information on their character, you have to rely on the Packers doing a thorough check (which they already will have, in Mixon's case). This is the kind of thing that makes GMs nervous, especially so close to the draft when there is almost no time to find out what they need to know, so they tend towards the conservative. I like both Mixon and Conley as players - I have no comment on their character, I just don't know enough. If Packers psych evals are negative on them, off the board, if positive, slot them accordingly.
