Danno's final 2018 Pre-Draft Mock
« on: April 16, 2018, 07:28:49 AM »
Just finished my draft book last night that I send to a few friends. One owns a Packers Bar and they have some fun with it.

The Dez Bryant question could throw a wrinkle into this thinking...............but I don't care.

Round 1 (14): Leighton Vander Esch/LB/Boise St. (Grade 6.18)
Round 2 (45): Carlton Davis/CB/Auburn (Grade 6.03)
Round 3 (76): Kemoko Turay/LB/Rutgers (Grade 5.87)
Round 4 (101): Tre' Quan Smith/WR/UCF (Grade 5.53)
Round 4 (133): Royce Freeman/RB/Oregon (Grade 5.63)
Round 5 (138): Joseph Noteboom/OT/TCU (Grade 5.62)
Round 5 (172): Christopher Herndon/TE/Miami (FL) (Grade 5.57)
Round 5 (174): Siran Neal/S/Jacksonville St. (Grade 5.58)
Round 6 (186): John Franklin-Myer/DT-DE/Stephen F. Austin (Grade 5.47)
Round 6 (207): Skyler Phillips/G-C/Idaho St. (Grade 5.36)
Round 7 (232): Brandon Facyson/CB/Virginia Tech (5.40)
Round 7 (239): Martez Carter/RB-KR/Grambling (Grade 4.94)

Would be very content with that draft. As you know, I'm not a big fan of Davis, but if that is the direction the Packers go I am 100% with it. They know far better what is the right move than I. Great minds must think alike, 6 of your picks from rounds 3 thru 6 are players I am thinking of using in a final mock.

Some NFL football exec is spreading info about Vander Esch and a neck injury thats potentially dropping him. LVE's camp says its BS. It is the lying and smokescreen season.

It noted that he had a pinched nerve that was soon relieved, and the report would not warrant a red flag from teams.

“We don’t expect this incomplete and seemingly inaccurate report to have any bearing on Vander Esch’s draft status,” PFW’s Eric Edholm wrote.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said he spoke to one team representative who had no medical issues with Vander Esch, and later added “from what I understand, there aren’t really any medical concerns at all ... his climb up draft boards will continue.”
