Over $100 mill in guarantees. $33.5 mill in new money.  No word on opt outs or salary elevator clauses.

Please post any specific details as you get them.

Pretty much guarantees that Arod will finish his career in GB.

#Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is signing his name to his 4-year contract extension as we speak and when he does, he’ll net a $57.5M signing bonus. By the end of 2018, thanks to his $134M extension, Rodgers gets $66.9M.

Here's an initial breakdown of the extension, new money, and Rodgers' pay relative to other QB's. All the details will be coming later (the guaranteed money is always the key component), but it looks as if AR is at the top of the QB pay scale again. At least until Wentz and Goff get their initial paydays.

The way I read it, he likely get's paid this years salary and then his signing bonus hits next March (just after the start of the new business year).
He counts $20.5M this year and is due $1.1M (roster/workout bonuses) next March. Add his $57M+ signing bonus to that and you're right about $80M.

A lot of money for the best player in the NFL. I'm curious to see what the cap benefits, if any, are going to be.

I doubt the Packers painted themselves into a corner.

If he's gonna knock up Danika he's gonna need the money. I mean, just Danika's car insurance has to be several thousand a month - she's notorious for having accidents when driving on city streets.

She'd best stay clear of Texas if that is true.

That is about the same rate my divorce lawyer is charging.

LOL

Why are divorces so expensive? Because they're worth it.
