 :'( :'(

Sad day for Packer Nation.

I bet there is a remebrance at the game on Monday Night.

I have fond memories of watching Taylor and The Golden Boy carve up the NFL as a 10 year old.

Taylor would go out of his way to run over a would be defender. It was fun to watch.

Taylor was the guts of that Packer offense.  He did the dirty work between the 20s and Hornung would get the goal line carries and the fame.  Great football player.

I will never forget this one play I saw against the Browns.

The Packers were on about the Cleveland 45.

Starr hit Taylor in the flat with a short pass, Taylor had one blocker in front of him.

He ran right over about three different tacklers, leaving them on the ground, and scored the touchdown.

If there was ever a guy who symbolized "take no prisoners" football, it was Taylor.

The difference between Jim Brown and Jim Taylor? Brown would "give you that leg then take it away". Taylor would "take that leg and ram it through your chest". My favorite tough guy player of all time.

Absolutely my favorite offensive player when I was young.
The Green Bay Packers never lost a football game.
They just ran out of time.
