Oh, I forgot to post how I come up with my draft order. I order them by win % and use Ross Tucker's Power Rankings as a tiebreaker. For the playoff teams, I use win % as a 1st tiebreaker and Ross Tucker's Power Rankings as a 2nd tie breaker. This allows my draft orders to change quite a bit early in the season which gives way for different scenarios to pop up, and when the end of the season gets closer my draft order gets much less volatile.

no chance Barkley goes to Cleveland, not with what they have invented in Weeden.  He may go number 1 but it will be via trade.  Not sold on Smith, looks very average against better defense,

New owner, new team president/GM......they could opt to go for another QB. Wouldn't be the first team to do that.....but too high for Barkley imo.

$3m cap hit to cut him plus his first 3 yrs are guaranteed. You don't bench a guy with those $$$. Cleveland has bigger needs

No chance Geno Smith goes #2. I see you are seeing my way of thinking regarding Milliner from Alabama. That kid can play!!!

Ah didn't know about the guaranteed 3 years. Thought teams didn't do deal like this anymore with the new rookie cap and CBA? guess I was wrong and that one......I stand corrected sir and concede, you are right.  ;)

I have come up on Milliner a bit and there are a few reasons:
1) 8 PD's in 2 games.
2) There are always a ton of teams that need a CB, and at least 1 usually goes pretty high.
3) This is a weak draft. It's pretty sad when the draft is looking weak this early. We could still lose some players to injury and there could be juniors that go back to school (like Matt Barkley did last year).

About the $3 million, I don't think they necessarily have to cut Weeden just because they draft a QB. We all know that teams have been successful letting a QB sit on the bench for a few years, and we also all know that competition is a good thing. And if worse came to worst, I don't think a $3 million cap hit is that bad for a team that is going into rebuilding mode to be honest.

Now I don't think CLE has to take a QB, but if there is a new regime they could easily want their own guy. And as for not benching a guy with big numbers, tell that to Matt Flynn. He is guaranteed twice as much as Weeden. I don't think CLE taking a QB is out of the question by any means.

CLEVE has more pressing needs than at QB and in regards to Flynn, he was injured to begin the year.  There is no QB in this draft that is an upgrade over Weeden right now.

I put zero stock in a mock this early, but it is fun to think ahead.

That being said, I don't know if the kid can play, but I love the name Barkevious.

"Hey, I missed that play, did Clay get the sack?"
"No, it was Barkevious."
"God Bless You."
"I didn't sneeze, that is his name, Barkevious."
"Gesundheit"
"I give up."

I'll be straight I want Man'ti Teo in a bad way.  He's a straight up baller, and as much as I LOATH Notre Dame, I'd take Teo in a heartbeat.  The guy defines play-maker and can do it all.  Also, if there was a RB worth taking I'd do that possibly...  Not as fond of taking a WR, however if Robert Woods were to be available at 32 I may jump at him.
If you're gonna be dumb, you've gotta be tough.

Well, right now it seems as if there will be some sort of WR there for us if you consider Hopkins a 1st rounder. I'm really nervous about the production of Robert Woods when Marquis Lee is doing so well. He should be getting some of the attention away from Woods by now, yet Woods isn't really coming up with great production.

I'd try not to be hung up on Te'o too much as he likely won't be there for us. I don't see BAL or PIT passing up on him if he even makes it that far, so our only chance is to pick ahead of those teams and we would still have to trade up. CHI is another team that I think would have a really tough time passing up on a Te'o.
