Clark is out too? Omg. This is going to be a long game.

Defense holds after a couple shakes. Then the special teams strikes again.

Absolute garbage effort by the O line. How do you not account for guys who are lining up in front of you. Bad playcalling with an empty backfield as well. The brain power hasn't improved much for whomever is actually dialing up plays.

We really could use a pass coverage middle linebacker. Bears are exploiting the middle of the field, like many teams do. 2019 draft features a couple in the first round. First round early: Devin White. Late first: Mack Wilson.

Unless the bears turn it over this is going to get ugly.

We need defenders who stay assignment sound. They completed 4 or 5 passes to running backs in the flats so far. A couple with no defender in sight. A couple with defenders late getting to their flat zone. Just unsound in their responsibilities.

I've noticed that almost every team we play has their RB leak out on every pass play forbath least a dump off, and it kills us constantly. We usually just keep our RB in pass pro. Maybe if ours leaked out we could negate a rush here and there.

Granted we need to win, but the Dolphins arent doing us any favors early on in their game.

Trubisky has all day to throw,  and we are getting little penetration against their rushing attack.

The story of the last 5 years. Trubisky is an average qb. His completions have all been less than tens yards so far, but the YAC is killing us because our defenders are all out of position.

At least we started some creativity and uptempo this series. Let's see if we capitalize on it.

Mack's first play against spriggs. He walks spriggs all the way into Aaron Rodgers and gets a sack on third down. I dont care how the draft falls this year, we should have shipped those two firsts for Mack. He is better than anyone they can possibly get in this draft, and was a position of dire need. He is one guy, and he has transformed that bears team. Imagine what he could have done for us. Another miss by management.

Breeland has been coming on lately, should keep him around a season or two.

If Philbin wants this job he's going to have to pull out all the stops. Expect, perhaps, a special teams trick play, for example.

Aaron Jones questionable with a knee injury.
