Caught something on ESPN at lunch and they showed a list of the 6 highest paid QBs and none of them are in the playoffs.

7 of the 12 playoff qb's are still on their rookie contracts.
Watson, Jackson, Mahomes, Trubisky, Wentz, Goff and Prescott are all second or third year players.  All except Prescott were first round picks.

Just an interesting tidbit, imo.

Since AR wasn't willing to give the home team discount, he's going to have to carry this team kicking and screaming into the playoffs.
They don't have the roster to do anything else. 
Looking forward, things are dicey; the GM has been borderline hideous so far in draft and FA.
My gosh, it could be argued that Steve Keim had a better offseason.

I had always thought that Eliot Wolf was the weak link, maybe it was Gutey.  (He did make a strong pitch for Spriggs, and seems to be a big measurables guy)
