Pre-Senior Bowl Mock
« on: January 16, 2019, 04:48:33 PM »
Hard to disagree with the on and off consensus top picks on draft sites and this forum. I just can't get around picking these Ohio State players, feel like they will transition well to the NFL. Anyway, hope you enjoy.

 1) OLB/ DE Montez Sweat, Mississippi St
 1b) RG Cody Ford, Oklahoma
2 (trade down) OLB D'Andre Walker, Georgia
 3) OT Andre Dillard, Washington St
4 (trade up) WR Johnnie Dixon, Ohio St
4 (trade up) RB Mike Weber, Ohio St
 4) FS Damon Arnette, Ohio St
 5) TE Kendall Blanton, Missouri
 6) traded
 6) traded
 7) ILB Charles Wright, Vanderbilt

 Updated version:

FA: WILB Kwon Alexander, RB Alfred Morris

1a (trade down) 3-4 DE Christian Wilkins, Clemson - Day one starting disruptive force.
1b) FS Juan Thornhill, Virginia - Day one starting playmaker.
2 (trade down) OLB/ILB D'Andre Walker, Georgia - True LB rather than converting DE type players. Day one player.
 3) T/G Andre Dillard, Washington St - Needs to add strength like most rookies always need to do, but could hold up in pass protection if needed to start.
 3) Edge Austin Bryant, Clemson - Rotational pass rusher.
 4) OLB Anfernee Jennings, Alabama - Another true LB.
 4) WRS K J Hill, Ohio St - Big play threat slot type.
 4) RG Connor McGovern, Penn St - True Guard, may have to work on pass protection.
 5) CB Damon Arnette, Ohio St - Could really be something after a year of coaching, great athlete.
 6) WRS Johnnie Dixon, Ohio St - Another slot type, surehanded, could serve as KR/PR.
 6) RB Wes Hills, Slippery Rock - Big athletic back to develop
 7) ILB/OLB Charles Wright, Vanderbilt - Boom or bust prospect, had a breakout year in 2017, not much this year due to injuries.
