Still disagree with your FA choices, but definitely like the positions drafted, and the trades for extra picks. A nice balance of offense/defense, all in areas of need. The players themselves? Its always a crap shoot, but if the Packers hit on a couple starters and a couple solid backups, that would be a very good draft.

I'd rather they take players with the two first rounders instead of trading back. We have missed out on too many players to continue to forfeit our shot at good talent.

Complacency is a very ugly word for a football team, some of the players we have been counting on for the future will be playing for their jobs this preseason. Due to some other issues, we had to send solid young players like HHCD, Randall, Montgomery and Whitehead to other teams for fresh starts. Complete teams with depth are the ones that compete in this league and losing players like that hurt us.

We haven't been to the playoff in two years and just went through a coaching rebuild, not sure we will be a destination for top free agents. New coaching staff usually means you get them a big group of young players to coach up from day one. I could see Gute trading down to load up in the draft, not sure about our first number one though, may be a really good player there. Allen will probably be gone by #20, really solid player. Overall, great draft.
