Lots of injuries and health issues.  Good football player.  Is he worth a look?

This bit of information would give me pause:

He tore his Achilles’ tendon in the 2017 opener, sidelining him the rest of the season. He returned in time for summer workouts and the start of training camp. But a mysterious heel injury popped up that kept Berry off the field until Week 15 against the Chargers.

Take a look at him, give him a workout and a physical? Sure. The "kick the tires" routine.

Would be great to get him at a veteran minimum and have that count even less against the cap but I am almost assuredly dreaming on that

This may just be me, but I would have zero interest in Berry. The guy has played in 3 games since 2016, IMO their is nothing left there. I would rather have a 43 YO Charles Woodson who retired in 2016 than Berry and I don't want Woodson either. Would be a waste of a roster that could be used for a young player who could at least contribute on ST's well he is developing. Berry has reached the 'big name, no game' point in his career, again IMO.
