Cobb signed by Cowboys: https://cheeseheadtv.com/blog/randall-cobb-signs-with-dallas-cowboys-256

That is sad to see, he was such a clutch player for the Packers. For anyone interested, Zach Kruse has posted a bunch of Cobb highlights on his twitter feed.

Good for him, I hope he can win a Super Bowl with them. He is one of the all-time Packer greats.

2 years up to $16.75 mil for Matthews.
Gotta tip your cap to Matthews and Cobb.  Both are future Packer HOFers IMO.

We lost CM 3, Brice, Cobb and Breeland in one day?

Whew.

I have a funny feeling they will all do well next year.

Hopefully the four we signed will do well also.

Lets not forget that many on here thought that CM3 and Cobb were both overpaid. Brice is enthusiastic, but not disciplined. Breeland may be good elsewhere, but more likely when he gets a couple of interceptions or a pick six, someone will post "See? Another player we should have kept, like Heyward and Hill." Ignored will be how the other guys are either hurt, or, in the case of Brice, end up on ST's.

Will be interesting to see what Cobb offers a different offense. If he stays healthy, he has a big year. Good luck Cobb thumbsup)

I think Cobb will do well with the Cowboys.

They have an excellent RB, and two good WR, which will allow him to get open.

Multiple Sources:  CM3 signing with the Rams.

Personally, I would rather see AR win another SB before CM3.

The Breeland loss does hurt.  KC makes sense for him as GB beat out KC for him last year and he will, probably, be higher on the depth chart there.  Makes King's health of all the more import and WIlliams much more valuable as a 5th CB.  Tony Brown is definitely the sleeper here.  He has talent.

I am curious to see how the loss of Whitt affects the DB group.

Seeing as they all played bad in zone, and they had pretty bad technique for years, while blowing assignment after assignment, I think Witts departure will benefit them.

Seems to me that Whitt was not given much talent to work with and that when he did have a bit of talent that there were results.
