If the Packers had kept Perry this year, his cap cost would have been over $14M, so they saved $3.3M by letting him go.

Martinez, Crawford, and Burks are the only ILB.

Would not surprise me to see Josh Jones get more work in there this year, but expect a draft pick to address ILB.
I am very happy to read that you are also thinking that Jones could be in for a lot of work there.  He plays so much better closer to the line and this idea is also consistent with the Big Nickel personnel group. 

Furthermore, Preston Smith is darn good in coverage.  I believe that opposing QBR against Preston Smith was right around 55.  Absurd.
