Williams is a very good fit for the Packers a great value in the 6th round. When I did the testing and measurable checks on RB's coming out of the combine, he was one of only 4 RB's that checked every box for the Packers. Is also known as an excellent blocker in pass pro. Love the pick.

Yep, that's what I was thinking.

Well Ladies and Gentlemen, we have one more dart to blindly throw at the board, so who is your player of choice?

The Texans take a Fullback 6 picks ahead of the Packers, it may well be Andrew Beck or Alec Ingold time for the Packers.

Ty Summers, LB , TCU
Its been a long few days, but Gutes work with the UDFA feeding frenzy coming tonight and the next few days is just beginning.  Great draft work by the Packers, overall good haul.

Painful to watch the second half of the 4th round.

Some of the top players possibly still on the Packers board.

CB's Corey Ballentine, Amani Oruwariye, Jordan Brown

S's  Marvell Tell III, Zedrick Woods

LB's Ty Summers, Te'Von Coney, Ben Burr-Kirven, Blake Cashman, Vosean Joseph

I had Ty Summers pegged as the top LB prospect left after the 4th round and the Packers land him with their last pick in the 7th round. Another very good athlete.

Agree that it was a good haul. 11 empty roster spots left for UDFA's. Still some good talent that will go undrafted, there is room for more.

The first place to look for players the Packers may sign as UDFA's would the list of players that made a top-30 visit to GB and went undrafted. I post that list on the '2019 players the Packers have shown interest in' thread.

Good job on the draft RT.  I hope these draftees take full advantage of their opportunity.  The Packer definitely got better the past few days.

Most obvious observation: in the sixth and seventh, the Packers went speed. All those guys are burners. Something that can't be taught (though Don Beebe might disagree).

True, but IMO they went for speed (and general athleticism) through the entire draft, perhaps with the exception of OG Jenkins and RB Williams, but even the two of them weren’t necessarily slow.
