Starting a thread for camp updates.

Here's a quick take from day 1.

I found in interesting that Kuhn comments on the fast-paced practice.  In MLF's presser, though, he commented on how players were lagging during transitions.

I wonder if this will be a change for carry-over Packers?  Maybe for rookies, too, who are used to college where they practice a lot, but don't need to be super efficient without any CBA restrictions on practice time.

I've only been to one Packers practice ever, 3-4 years ago.  I admit being surprised on how little was going on so much of the time, lots of standing around, walking slowly.

I liked MLF's press conference:  He listed the injuries/missing in his first 30 seconds, that's the issue of foremost interest when camp opens, and he cut right to the chase.

Savage tooth, Dexter Williams sick.

Crosby calf, Josh Jackson foot.

Nothing significant.

Pleasantly few.

Thanks for links, danno.  Fun to check through the observations for the day.  Two days of practice and only one fresh injury?  (Donnerson)  It's a miracle!!!

It doesn't sound like much but the first couple of days can find out guys that have been dogging it in the offseason - they come into camp out of shape and are almost immediately injured. That hasn't happened this year, except for Donnerson, who may not have stretched his hammies enough, and even that pulled hammy is likely just bad luck.

I’m getting the gist that Boyle is outshining Kizer so far.

Should keep an eye on these two.

Thanks for the updates danno. So far, sounds promising.
And God so loved the Green Bay Packers, He reached forth his mighty hand and stamped his initial upon the sides of their helmets!--Lombardi 3-16
