We hear it every year, but it really is remarkable Green Bay is able to fill out their actual stadium for a practice.

I wonder if it's due to lack of options or interest but I am surprised teams don't have more people show up when the opportunity is there.

Lots of things to do in the GB area and all of WI especially in the summer.

Packers are just 'loved'.

Rough day at practice so far. Several players getting dinged up, including Z-Smith and Adrian Amos.

Will post more when summary comes out.

Never cared for these joint practices and always thought that TT was smart to avoid them. Opponents can take liberties with cheap shots without the risk of fines or penalties and they do. Most teams have stop doing them because of the added injuries that don't need to happen.

Texans S Lonnie Johnson Jr. hit Packers TE Jace Sternberger so hard his helmet flew off. Sternberger taken to the locker room to be checked for a concussion.

Trevor Davis also getting checked after he took a big hit on kickoff return.

That was the 2nd time Sternberger for absolutely leveled over the middle. The first time things were ok. This time the benches cleRed. It would seem cooler heads have now prevailed. Two bush league plays by the Texans safeties.

Tons of check downs in team stuff today. Packers offense hasn’t looked great.

If I was MLF, I’d have a short face-to-face with O’Brein and explain how important it would be to keep his QB Watson out of a wheel chair.

That wouldn't do any good, O'Brien's response would be 'stay in your lane rookie or we will send Rodgers home in a body bag'. Hopefully Gutes is smarter about joint practices in the future and just not have them, one more day of this BS and the Packers can move on from it.

In reading Mark Murphy's comments about joint practices on the Packers website, it seems like he might of been behind the idea. He viewed it as another money making opportunity for the organization, right in line with everything he has done for the last year and a half. Profits and image first, team production is secondary.

Next up, Murphy inviting another team up for joint sledding at the sled hill in February.  $20 tickets to watch, and $10 hot chocolate for fans.

Your hatred for all things Murphy is bizarre.   It's always a fun game to guess which thread one of these comments will pop up next.   The answer seems to be "ALL"

The Patriots routinely hold joint practices (2018 being the exception) and they are right back at it again this year.    Probably why they lack any team success and production...
