5 Round Mock Draft 2.0...
« on: March 24, 2020, 03:53:47 PM »
Another FanSpeak mock draft. Things didn't fall as I'd like, but tried to make the best of it:

Round 1: Denzel Mims - WR - Baylor - Still one of my favorite guys at WR.

Round 2: Justin Madubuike - DL - Texas A&M - Good run stuffing DL to complement Clark.

Round 3: Matt Hennessy - IOL/C - Temple - I doubt the Packers will pay for Linsley after 2020, and Hennessy comps to Linsley.

Round 4: Jack Driscoll - OT - Auburn - Developmental RT but has a high RAS.

Round 5: Jonathan Garvin - EDGE - Miami - The WR talent was tapped out for a double dip and I'm of the opinion that you "can't have too many pass rushers".

I wished I had been able to acquire more "weapons" early on but it didn't work out. More than likely Gutey will have to wheel and deal to get more than one, but that seems to be his forte.

Nice. Addresses current and anticipated needs. Again, this is the positions drafted, not players. About the players, who knows? There are no guarantees, just talent, "upside" and hope.
